Michelle Gerardot, MSW, LCSW, RYT
Founder of TrueSelf Somatics™, Michelle Gerardot is a trauma-informed somatic coach who blends her extensive expertise in psychotherapy, yoga, and somatic practices to guide individuals on their journey to healing and self-discovery. Her work is rooted in compassion, designed to help clients unwind the stories and pressures that hold them back, making her a trusted ally for high-achieving women and military families alike.

Michelle’s credentials include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Human Development – Indiana University

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) with a focus in Clinical Studies – North Carolina State University

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

  • Certified Somatic Coach

  • Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed practitioner

 

 

With a rich background in clinical settings such as hospitals, hospice, and private practice, Michelle’s unique approach integrates therapeutic practices, meditation, and breathwork, alongside certifications in Yin and Restorative Yoga.

 

Her passion for supporting women and military families, particularly around the impact of Secondary Post Traumatic Stress, drives her work with non-profit organizations like The STEPS Foundation, SOF Network, and The Pillar Foundation.
